The following is a condensed version of the eulogy prepared by Victor and Myron Tetreault: About Leontine Tetreault's life, Memaire's greatest joy was her children, and later her grand children and great grand children. She saw her role on earth as God's agent in creating and nurturing new life. She would make sure to feed her visitors something special and she always had a gift for us and a tear in her eye when we left. She was non judgmental and accepted with grace and warmth the new members of her family and the many visitors to her home. She was an awesome berry picker, especially blue berries. She also was an excellent gardener and had huge bountiful garden to feed her family and others. Leontine had a strong faith in God and lived her life as a powerful example of Christian values. She lived with dignity, perseverance, acceptance and faith. She obtained great joy from serving her husband and family and was rewarded by the love that was returned for selflessness. Leontine Tetreault died at 96 having lived a full and meaningful life. The church was filled with people who had been touched by her warmth and generosity. She has earned her rest and we will keep on loving her and we will miss her so much.
