Obituary of George Martin Thomas

With deepest sorrows we announce the passing of George Martin Thomas on May 18, 2013 at the age of 32 years. Wake for George commenced Saturday, May 18th at 8:00 pm from the Kisikohk School, Witchekan Lake First Nation. Funeral was held Monday, May 20, 2013 at 12:00noon from the Kisikohk School, Witchekan First Nation. Burial will take place at the South Cemetery following the Funeral Service. George leaves to mourn; his partner Joanne Sakebow and their son Akito Thomas; his mom, Sharon Thomas; his father Allan (Edna) Whitefish; his siblings - Selena(Mervin), Cecilia(Gregory), Agnes(Donny), Almira, Allan, Herman(Tanya) and Sammie(Chasity). He also leaves his Grandmother Lucy Whitefish and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. George was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Agnes and Joseph Thomas; his great grandparents, George & Christina Thomas; his favorite Aunt Laura Tipewan and his paternal grandfather George Whitefish.
