Obituary of Joan Mary Remy

Joan Mary Remy (Vandevord)  passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022.  Joan was born September 19, 1943.  She loved to visit or simply have a cup of coffee with family and friends.  Joan leaves behind her daughter Rhonda (Doug) McDougall, her sons Delco Remy and Leland (Cathy) Remy.  Her grandchildren Chantelle, Corrie (Justin), Catlin, Kaitlyn (Zach) and Carson (Taylor).  Her great-grandchildren Kaleb, Kamille, Beau and Kayne.  Her brothers Lawrence and John.  Her sisters, Shirley, Diane and Wendy.  Joan was predeceased by her husband Edward, parents Joe and Verna (Russell) Vandevord, her in-laws Adolphe and Georgia Remy.  Her brothers Edward and Harvey and her daughter-in-law Donna Cartwright.  A special thank you to Nelson Care Home and the staff at the Victoria Hospital – level 6.  A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens - Garden of the Last Supper.
