To the Podhordeski family all; I had no idea that Elaine had passed on. I have been doctoring since my B Cancer surgery, chemo, radiation and visits to Cancer center…therefore, I had not kept in touch with my old friends from that area. I remember so well the very Kind, Helpful & L oving couple that were our friends while we lived in the area & the helpful hands when we moved to Birch Hills. Elaine was a lovely person. She was my Mom’s best friend. I remember her being a very kind person with a quick smile and good sense of humour. Both Elaine and Jim were great friends with my parents and they visited often. I remember lots of fun and laughter when they were together (they were also in the dance club together). My condolences to her family.

We will always have fond memories of visiting and catching up with Jim & Elaine en route to land adjacent to their horses. We marveled at their shared knowledge of horses, cattle and productive gardens. Elaine’s smile and cheerful demeanour would light up a room. Her light now shines in one of the rooms Jesus has prepared. We extend our condolences and heartfelt prayers to the family.
