Obituary of Elaine Ann Podhordeski

 

Elaine Ann Podhordeski was born on January 12, 1935, in London, England and she passed away peacefully on February 13, 2023, at her daughter-in-law’s home near Marcelin surrounded by her family.

 

Elaine was predeceased by her parents Ida & Harry Mayfield, her brother Dean, her husband Jim, her son Larry as well as her granddaughter Kayleen, great-granddaughter Autumn and great-grandson Jaeden.

 

Elaine is survived by her daughters Michele Sydorko, Teresa (Bob) Williams, Kathy (Glenn) Podhordeski, and her daughter-in-law Jan Podhordeski along with 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

 

Elaine loved her life on the farm. Her greatest love was her husband Jim & raising horses together. She enjoyed cooking & baking as well as sewing & knitting. Elaine was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand. She will always be loved and remembered and we will miss her presence in our lives. We love you Mom. 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Elaine to the Marcelin Cemetery.

 

The Mass of Christian Burial for Elaine will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Marcelin, SK.

Elaine will be laid to rest in the Marcelin Cemetery. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow at the Marcelin Hall.
