To the Halle Family,
My deepest condolences with the passing of your husband, father, and grandfather. What a life well-lived! And such a legacy he left behind. I remember him so clearly; it was hard not to. His charming and gregarious life was spent in loyalty to his family and in service to others which stemmed from his faith. I have often thought, through the years, of how he used to serve mass to those who couldn’t travel to church. What a gift that was to those he served and what an example it was for the rest of us.
My heart goes out to each one of you during this difficult time. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you learn to cope, in this life, without Maurice.
May your hearts be comforted, and peace prevail as you walk through these next days,
