We are sorry we are not able to make it to be with the rest of the family in Prince Albert for brother Ken’s celebration of life. We join with the rest of the family, and many friends, even at this distance, to honor and celebrate Ken’s life. Ken was such a faithful man, full of integrity and lots of love. Wayne and I were privileged to have Ken, Gwen and family move to Nipawin from Carlyle. They were so diligent and dedicated serving with us at the church we were pastoring. We were so grateful for all the times we could share together. Then when God called us to Victoria they stepped in to the pastor role themselves. Ken was known for his kindness, his love, and a warm hug, always accepting of everyone, showing forth the love of the Father. He was a doer of the Word, and was active in his faith, serving and giving to those around him. He was a man of many talents, not only with a great voice and drumming as exemplified as part of the Believers Quartet, but the best sense of humour. It was known that at any event he would be the M. C. with his clever wit and story telling ability. His puppet shows were extraordinary for all ages and I think the adults looked forward to it as much or more than the kids. Avid about sports as he was, he was a family man at heart, always gushing over the love of his life, Gwenny, and so proud of his son Philip and daughter Courtney, and keeping in contact with the rest of the family.
Psalm 25:12-13
What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
His soul shall dwell at ease, and his seed shall inherit the earth.
We send our love and prayers,
Penny, Mike and Charity
